1. Introduction of Saiyin New Materials Co., Ltd.

Founded in September 2021 in Taiyuan, the capital of China's major coal-producing province of Shanxi, Taiyuan Saiyin New Materials Co., Ltd. is dedicated to developing Joule heating systems for scientific research and industrial applications, as well as production lines for flash graphene and advanced carbon materials.

From 2021, Taiyuan Saiyin New Materials Co., Ltd. has quickly become a leader in flash Joule heating technology, achieving several significant milestones: (1) Developed the "Saiyin Joule heating system" for scientific research in 2020. (2) In 2021, unveiled the world's first small-scale automated flash Joule heating furnace, showcasing the technology's potential. (3) By 2023, we had scaled up significantly, launching the world's first industrial-scale automated flash Joule heating furnace, paving the way for mass production. (4) Subsequently, we established a 300 tons/year production line for flash graphene, demonstrating our commitment to commercializing this innovative material.

3. Our graphene production line

As the world's leading supplier of flash graphene and its production equipment, Saiyin offers comprehensive solutions for both graphene production and application development. We provide all the necessary equipment and technology, paving the way for widespread industrial and consumer adoption of this revolutionary material.

To accelerate your entry into the flash graphene market, we've designed a modular 300 tons/year production line as a starting point. Customers and partners can customize this base model by adding or removing units to align with their local resources, market demands, and desired applications.

The production line encompasses three sequential core processes: preprocessing, Joule heating, and post-processing. Each process takes place in its dedicated workshop - the preprocessing workshop, Joule heating workshop, and post-processing workshop. Remarkably, thanks to automation, these workshops require minimal personnel while consistently delivering high-quality graphene.

The basic production line utilizes carbon black as its raw material. For those seeking to utilize anthracite, additional processing equipment is required to prepare it for the production process. This basic line produces nano-flash graphene powder. To further transform this powder into asphalt additives or cement reinforcements, an additional composite process is necessary, which combines the graphene with specific dispersing materials.

 

4. Principle and advantages of our production line

Saiyin flash graphene production line leverages Joule heating to produce high-quality graphene in mere seconds. This cost-effective, solvent-free process utilizes readily available raw materials, making it an ideal industrial solution for regions with abundant electricity, plentiful carbon sources, and limited freshwater resources.

The core production process comprises three key steps:

(1) Mixing and Granulation: Raw materials like carbon black powder and additives are thoroughly combined before being pelletized into uniform granules.

(2) Rapid Joule Heating and Cooling: These granules are instantaneously heated to 3000°C in an automated Joule furnace housed within a vacuum chamber. The heated granules undergo rapid quenching, resulting in coarse graphene.

(3) Milling: The coarse graphene is then pulverized into micron-sized powders.

Flash graphene powders produced through this method possess several key properties:

lFew-layered: Each graphene sheet consists of only a few layers of carbon atoms.

lLarge Specific Surface Area: Its extensive surface area enhances its potential for various applications.
